September Classes! I will be offering two different series of classes this fall 2016 in the Cowichan-Cobble Hill-Duncan area. Have a look and see if you see something that interests you!

MEDITATION CLASSES This series of classes is for everyone who would like to make time for their Spirit in a weekly meditation practice. The series will consist of 6 weekly classes for residents of the Arbutus Ridge Seaside Community. Everyone is welcome and this experience will benefit those who are new to meditation as well as long-time meditators who wish to accelerate their vibratory field and deepen their experience of Theta wavelengths. The type of meditation I share with people is very different from mindfulness meditation and the Eastern traditions. Our approach will be about learning to Vision and how to interpret the rich images that come from a deep place of inner guidance within your own Spirit. It's a big world in there! Join me and enjoy the journey to your center.

SPIRITQUEST CLASSES. I am offering my intuitive development and mediumship course, a four part series entitled Spiritquest. Spiritquest consists of four one-day workshops designed to give you the information and skills to explore your intuitive abilities. In Spiritquest I share everything I know about connecting with Spirit from my 27 years as a professional medium and teacher of metaphysics. I will post an outline of each Spiritquest class soon so that you can see what we will cover. If you have had intuitive experiences, Spiritquest will give you the tools you need to understand them, and the confidence to develop your intuitive skills in an atmosphere that is empowering, caring and supportive. We will dispel common myths about communicating with Spirit, and you will be amazed at how quickly your skills will grow in a safe and inspiring learning environment. SPIRITQUEST...WHAT IS IT?

SPIRITQUEST is a program designed to develop your intuitive abilities, spiritual awareness and mediumship under the guidance of professional medium, Maureen Landry.
Maureen has been teaching for over 27 years and is a well-respected Ottawa medium, now residing in Cobble Hill, British Columbia, near Victoria on Vancouver Island. SPIRITQUEST consists of four one-day classes--Quest 1, Quest 2, Quest 3
and Quest 4—which instruct and develop the skills of the spiritual intuitive, healer and medium in each person. All participants begin with Quest One regardless of their previous experience and proceed through the Quests in order because the content of each class builds on the skills of the previous class.

It is not necessary to register for all Quests at once. You may register and attend Quest 1 and then decide about Quest 2 and so on. Spiritquests One through Four are designed to give you an excellent foundation, providing the historical context, scientific information and practical skill sets for developing your own intuitive abilities. Intuitive arts and mediumship
are a process of personal development and practice in utilizing the knowledge and skills learned in Spiritquest. After you complete Spiritquest Four, you may take the ongoing Quest 5 Development Class to practice and use the skills you have learned. The Quest 5 Development Class is an experiential, “learn-by-doing” opportunity to practice your intuitive skills with the Maureen’s coaching, guidance and encouragement. Intuitive abilities unfold over time and the Quest 5 Development Class provides a positive learning environment that celebrates the gifts and successes of each person at every step of their intuitive development.

SPIRITQUEST 5 DEVELOPMENT CLASS

SPIRITQUEST 5 DEVELOPMENT
CLASS is a
program which provides the opportunity to practice and develop your intuitive message-giving and mediumship with the guidance of a professional medium. You will learn-by-doing in this practical learning environment. You will develop confidence in your intuitive messages, learn how to work with your angels, guides and Spirit and increase your accuracy. We begin each class with a 15-20 minute meditation. Each class is different and we use varied exercises to keep the learning interesting. Most of all you will enjoy unfolding your gifts in a
supportive and extremely positive environment with opportunities to develop your unique style of working with spirit. This development program is usually offered in a series of 6 weekly classes. Quest 4 of the Spiritquest Program is
the pre-requisite.

EVENING MEDITATION

EVENING MEDITATION is a series of classes, usually 4 or 6 weeks, which are perfect for people who wish to set aside meditation time in a regular spiritual practice. It’s a great way
to make time for yourself and your soul. At Evening Meditation we begin with 50 to 60 minutes of meditation, with some additional time at the end for sharing of your experience in a caring and supportive environment, with the guidance of a
professional medium. It is a very rich experience and the guidance from Spirit is often very profound! Evening
Meditation offers you the opportunity to make time for Wonder in your life and give room for your own intuitive spirit to grow. Pre-requisite: Spiritquest 4. NIAGARA MEDITREAT 2017…
What is a Meditreat? It’s a wonderful combination of a personal retreat combined with the opportunity to meditate and learn intuitive skills in a spirit of spiritual development. Our 2017 Meditreat will focus on combining a time of
personal spiritual renewal and development classes in mediumship and the intuitive arts! You will experience activities that will nourish your body, mind and spirit as well as expand your intuitive and mediumship abilities. I always organize activities that will provide opportunities for growth for both beginners opening to their intuition, as well as seasoned mediums. The Meditreat provides safe, supportive and caring environment with the emphasis on experiential learning. Learning by doing is the best way to explore intuitive

The Meditreat is held every year at the Mount Carmel Spiritual Centre in Niagara Falls, Canada. I choose this place because it is a peaceful setting situated above the powerful Falls. This is a sacred place with a very high frequency of consciousness. Waterfalls have long been regarded as a source of spiritual energy, a conduit for impressions and messages from Spirit. LEARNING UNITY CONSCIOUSNESS

Discussions with people taking initial, tentative steps into exploring their intuition, "psychic" abilities, energy work or mediumship usually bring up this question pretty fast: what about the evil spirits? Well, what about them. Personally I don't spend any time thinking about them. I spend more time being dismayed at evil people. But let's talk about evil spirits and evil people for a moment because we are learning to rethink how to deal with so-called "lower frequencies" and evil forces. Whether it's the evil intent of a human or some fugly spirit from the planet Zorgon, it's an energy field, a field of limited consciousness expressed in frequency. These frequencies are heavy and unbalanced to say the least. People often ask me what they can do to protect themselves, and it's usually in the context of protecting themselves from bad spirits when they meditate, or their home space before spiritual activities. Or keeping out the toxic energies of people in their lives whether at home or at work. Well first we have to get over the idea of "protection", because protection is a hallmark of separation consciousness: us/them; you/me; I/the other. It implies that we are separate from one another. Protection says that we are keeping something in, and we are keeping something out. We do this out of fear because protection also implies that we can be hurt by the thing from which we are protecting ourselves. So the basis of protection is fear. Consider another perspective. Consider that there are ways of raising the vibration of self and space in a way that utilizes the energy of empowerment and light. When we understand that the esoteric Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Light underpins the process of enlightenment, we use a different approach.

This law states that "darkness" (low, heavy frequencies of consciousness) are continually absorbed and transmuted by higher frequencies. Intuitively, I know this to be true. Dr. Norma Milanovich wrote about this law in her 1996 book, The Light Shall Set You Free: "Simply put, since higher vibrations consume and transform lower ones, each person can become an alchemist of the heart, if he or she chooses to do so". And more importantly, " ...I offer this law to the Children of Light of the world to use as their weapon to embrace the darkness and bring it into the Light...its application has the power to raise Earth's vibration into the...Fifth Dimension".

This approach to energy fields functions by utilizing UNITY CONSCIOUSNESS....oneness....gathering together into wholeness and raising the vibration of everyone. Yes, even the evil people. Yes, even the fuglies from the planet Zorgon! The Darth Vader in the corner of your bedroom that scares the bejesus out of you because you haven't yet learned to be in charge of the power of your Light. The Buddhists say it best, "If you meet the devil, invite him in for tea." Yes, come in, my pretty....I have something for you, my dear! Creating sacred space with a Unity Consciousness perspective has a very different vibe from separation consciousness and it achieves the same result of raising vibration. Separation consciousness wants to keep out because it is afraid. Unity Consciousness wants to transform through integration because it is NOT afraid. Unity Consciousness teaches us to be inclusive, to embrace the light and the dark. The hallmark of Unity Consciousness is the vibration of Love, which carries the highest frequency and power to transform all other frequencies. Martin Luther King Jr. said it best, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that". Amen, my brother.

So you see, we have the choice. We have the choice to perpetuate old school fear-based paradigms that no longer serve us that say, draw a circle and keep yourself safe inside it and keep the Other, the nasty things out there. Or we can use the power of the highest vibrations of love to create a vibratory field that welcomes all to be loved into transformation in a spirit of unity, integrating dark and light and raising up the collective. Both methods achieve the same result of raising the vibration where you are. So it's really a choice of which paradigm we are going to choose. Your choice. I made mine a long, long time ago.
